Yes, you can toke up without fear in Edison and throughout the Garden State. Cannabis is legal for both recreational and medical purposes. New Jersey allows adults over 21 to purchase up to an ounce of cannabis flower, four grams of concentrates or vape oils, or 1,000 milligrams of edible THC in a single dispensary transaction. Up to six times these amounts are legal to possess in total. However, it remains illegal to use cannabis in public or to operate a vehicle while under the influence.
